Not as advertised!

As soon as I put my desk chair (5 point ball casters) on the mat divots were created. I could not easily move the chair. I didn't even sit in the chair yet! This does NOT work for medium to high pile carpet at all. The advertised use is completely bogus.

These chairmats worked out well for my office. I purchased 4 of them and they were easy to install no prep just remove from the box and install. Great economical product.

Great value. Makes sitting at my home office desk easier to move around than just rolling my chair on my carpet. I need to get another one for my craft area table.

Disappointed in the quality. Had a coupon for a chairmat that was expiring and this was the only option my local store had in stock. That seems to happen a lot at my local store.

Not for carpet

OK this clearly states that it is only good for carpet with 1/4 inch pile. Admittedly my carpet is deeper than that. But this was the only choice in the right size for my office. Plus the thicker mats are way too expensive in addition to being too large. If you have decent carpet don't bother. C'mon Staples can't you stock something that is the right size with decent construction?
