Am very happy with this Mat.My last one lasted 15 years and ya can't beat the quality for the price.Only reason I changed them out was cause I re-done the computer room and cause of age the other ones that were 15 years old was turning yellowish color from age after 15 years of use no cracks in them and they had lots of use.

Protects the carpet

The mat is too flexible. The chair wheels sink down into it and then it is hard to make them roll out of these indentations. The main reason I wanted this mat was so it would be easier to roll the chair around but it didn't.

Good size but moves too much

I like the size but as others have commented - after a few hours of being at my desk it moves backwards & I have to pull it forward so I can have my chair all the way up to my desk.

Flat Pile Carpet Chair Mat with Lip

The mat is thick and made of quality plastic that's pliable. Unrolls and flattens within a minute or two under the weight of a chair. My chair easily maneuvers over the surface without the mat shifting and the lip provides good foot traction for getting up or moving forward or back. And you can back up in your chair without going off the mat which made it the perfect size for me. A winner!

A little small and slides around a bit

Mat is a little small for a chair with rollers. Also it slides around a bit and always having to reposition.

I have to remain neutral on this item as only time will tell if it holds up under average use. I have tried more expensive mats that have cracked within a year. Even got different wheels for my chair but still had cracking. At least I am not out big bucks as it is disposable at this price.
