I do not like it - do they really make a decent chair mat?

Terrible - your chair gets stuck in ruts all the time which appear within minutes of sitting in chair.

The mat was not thick enough to roll chair. The mat also moved it did not stay in place.

Wrong chair mat

I have had problems with the wheels of my office chair sinking into the chair mat. I bought this mat hoping that it would remedy that. It didn't and I immediately returned it. I got one for deep pile carpet. The new one is better but still has the problem.

We are using two mats in a home work area over low-pile carpet. The rollers on the chairs do tend to sink into the mats and prevent easy movement but the mats look nice and stay put. Perhaps more expensive mats would not have the "sinking" problem but we didn't want to spend more.
