Will never reorder these

I would not recommend these. I only purchased them because Staples was out of the ones I normally order. These must come from a damp warehouse because the flaps are partially sealed and I have to unseal them to get the check inside but the glue is such poor quality that I have to tape the envelope shut(sounds like a contradiction but it's true).

I've used these envelopes for a few years and they've always performed well. This last box (same item #) was evidently from a different supplier they were poorly made hard to stuff the gum doesn't stick well and according to some recipients they sometimes fall apart before they arrive.

Some of the corners on some of the envelopes are already sealed so I have to tear them then reseal. Kind of a pain but only on a few of the envelopes.

Poor quality

We have been buying these envelopes from Staples for the past 3-4 years. The last shipment I received had so many envelopes where the cellophane over the window was poorly glued that you couldn't use the envelope at all. We returned one box to Staples but are still waiting for credit. These used to be perfect for mailing our checks but I will be searching for a new vendor.

Good deal

Good value and good quality. There are many very similar envelopes so check compatibility carefully. I bought 500 nearly-identical envelopes at the Staples store for approximately the same price as these 1 000 envelopes on line.
