The paper is heavier weight than the "standard" 20lb. paper so the ink doesn't "bleed through". The pages are easier to sort--they don't stick together.
Most printers today are ink jet printers so it only makes sense to buy ink jet paper for them. I have tried other cheaper paper with the expected cheaper looking results. The ink can fail to dry quickly and make a mess on the paper... both on the one being printed and on the back of the one above it (and within my printer... speeding the need to replace the machine) or the ink can bleed through and begin to look fuzzy on the paper. This paper always gives me the very best results.
I purchased this instead of Hammermill paper as I wanted the brightest paper possible. Paper works well in my HP printer my Canon and Epson printer too. The price is right and the quality is there along with the Staples 100% warranty to boot. Ink does not bleed and fonts are crisp and clean.
