Scrubber sponges fall apart after modest usage

These used to be an excellent product, but not any more. For those purchased in the last year or so, the scrub pad starts to separate from the sponge after only a few uses, and the sponge material seems to be of poorer quality. They used to last months, and now only a couple of weeks. Once upon a time we could always trust 3M Scotch-Brite products to be excellent, but the constant quest for cheaper materials, and for products that wear out more quickly, seems to have infected 3M even for simple commodity products like scrubber sponges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The scrub pad separates from the sponge

We bought a 15 pack of these sponges. I am half way through the pack and I can safely say that on every one of the sponges the scrubbing part has separated from the sponge way before the unit as a whole was ready to be discarded. I don't remember this happening with earlier batches of this product. Very disappointing.

Horrible!

These sponges STINK after minimal usage! We have been purchasing this brand for years, but something has been changed in the material that is used. It is so bad that the minute you enter the kitchen you can smell the odor across the room! We will be looking for another brand.

Scrub Material separates from the sponge

I have always used this product. However, I purchased a large package of these sponges, UPC Code 2120000183 and the dark blue scrub material soon separates from the light blue sponge. What is the problem? I am 81 years old and have used these sponges for years.

Scrub Side Doesn't last long

Great Scrub Sponges For Non Stick Pans

I Absolutely Love To Use These Amazing Scrub Brushes On All My Dishes , But I Mainly Use These On My Pots And Pans Especially My Non Stick Cookware As Not To Scratch Them . I Highly Recommend These And Have Told My Lady Family Members About This Product To Use . You Want Clean Cookware And Dishes Choose This Product .

What happened??

I have been using the Scotch Brite Non-Scratch sponges for years. I purchased a six pack of Scotch Brite Zero Scratch scrub sponges - 3X Quicker & Stronger about a month ago and the first one I used started falling apart within 2 days of use, sponges separating and falling off. I thought it was a fluke, so I got another one from the pack of 6 and it did the same thing and so did the third. What happened to this product. I am very disappointed.
