Carpet Chair Mat

This is a very sturdy carpet chair mat however I did order the wrong size. I will be using in another area and will reorder the correct size. The carpet mat stays in place and does not get hooked on my chair. It's clear so you really don't notice the mat at all you can see the carpet right through it. I would recommend this to any one looking for a carpet mat under your rolling or stay fast chair. Most carpet mats crack but I don't see that happening to this one with the was it was made. I would just make sure you get the right size.

We have 4 of these. Of the 4 one got wheel holes in them over a period of a year. I bought another one. I think if the old one got ruin from the weight not being even on the mat. Wheel half on mat and half on the floor is what made the old one break. None of the original 3 have the holes or are worn. This new one has been fine since we purchased.

okay if you have low pile carpeting

Because my carpeting is thicker than recommended for mat's thickness the ends tend to come up. With use on low-pile commercial grade carpeting I believe this mat would be adequate. Chair still rolls well and mat is easy to clean.

Don't buy this to go on your carpet at home! That's not what it's for. Yes it is a thinner material because it's meant to go on 1/4" thick carpet in office buildings with no pad underneath. People writing reviews of this are disappointed because it's cracking and gets dents in it. READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BUY! It's like writing a bad review of a Honda Civic because it broke down the first time you took it off-roading. This is product is perfect for its intended use.
