The mat protects my carpet BUT if I stay in one position for an extended period it makes a rut and I have to pull the chair to move it out. When I bought the mat at my Staples it was the ONLY one they had on display. Later when I was at a larger Staples I saw 4-5 different mats on display. I will most likely upgrade and bite the bullet on this one.

What can I say. It's a mat. Helps to reduce traction against the carpet for ease and convenience. If you're looking you should just buy it. You'll be glad you did. (Mic drop)

the matt is too soft and the chair wheels sink in and I still am not able to move around matt is on carpet. thanks
