Not good for long periods of time

While it does a great job of protecting the carpet I sit for long periods of time and I found my chair casters literally "sink in" to the mat so rolling is not much easier even with this mat. I should have ordered a heavier duty mat.

We needed to replace a chair mat that is being used on a low-pile carpet in our home office. This chair mat has the "carpet teeth" on the underneath side to secure it to the carpet so it does not move when the desk chair glides over the mat. It was originally reasonably priced but when I went on-line to make the purchase for pick up at a local store there was a coupon offer for a 20% discount! Since it was not a shipable item it was ready for pick up at a local store within just a few hours of ordering.

It works for what it was made. I am placed it on my carpet to make my home office chair roll with ease. Before I had the mat rolling the chair to sit at the desk was hard now I can push away from the desk to stand up or sit and roll the chair back closer to the desk to work. Adjustment were necessary since I am working at lot more from home than before.
