Not very rigid

I purchased this mat thinking it would be suitable for a high pile carpet but the chair wheels make an impression on the mat and I get stuck and cannot move unless I jerk the chair up out of the indentions. Would not buy this again.

I am pleased with my new carpet desk mat. The old one was too light weight and would not stay in place. The moving was hard on carpet. This one was a good choice.

This mat is very thick and covers a lot of area. The chair rolls from one side of the space to the other like a dream. This chair mat has certainly been the answer to our issue with being able to move the desk chair around the room on the plush carpet. It is great to know that we are protecting the carpet while we are moving around the room as we accomplish the tasks that we need to do in our home office. The mats that we have had in the past have been too thin and too small for the area that we need to traverse. This one is just right for our needs.

Mat is large and works well on my office high pile carpeting. Was expecting longer "spikes" but we'll see how it lasts (previous mats have cracked within a year of moderate - two hours a day - use)
