Much thicker that previous product that split under the chair area. Still have some indentation when chair is in one spot for awhile. I am about 230 lbs. So far I am satisfied>

Feels Great -- Chair Mat for 1 inch Pile

This is around the 7th chair mat I've purchased in 21 years. They've all eventually cracked up and used to be very sharp with the stabilizing points on the bottom. This one has shorter pegs that are not overly sharp saving my hands. It feels just like all of the others and fits nicely now that I have a corner wrap-around desk. The old one with the lip didn't look good on an angle. I've purchased these that supposedly had a lifetime warranty but that never materialized. I expect this will last like the others around 3 years and I'm only 180 lbs. with 5 castors on my chair. Feel great after the old one that was all cracked up with a chunk missing.

For high pile carpets this mat should be made a lot stronger. Very weak plastic that create sink holes and chair wheels get stuck and hard to maneuver around.

Even though the chair wheels cause dimples they're shallow enough that no cracks are forming around them (as with thinner chair mats).

Great Chair Mat!

We used this in our home office on a thick low pile carpet. Works great and was shipped direct to the house. Unrolled it and it was ready to go. Thanks!

I have had this same carpet protector before. It says it is for high pile carpet and we have medium to low pile. Even so it still dents where the wheels sit when in use. I weigh 175 pounds and my wife is less. So here is what I do having had previous pads I cut a portion of the old cracked pad and place it under the new pad where the chair wheels usually roll. This seems to prolong the pad to some extent.
