Very good product

I wish it had been[...] "unrolled". I ended up with a pretty bad bruise on my leg trying to unroll it. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the product. It does dimple a bit but not enough to make it difficult to roll the chair.

Staples® 46" x 60" mat is nice but does not stay put

The Staples® 46" x 60" chair mat is advertised for “high pile” carpet but the retraining nob on the bottom are rounded and only about 3/16” long. They do not grip the carpet well. I find I have to adjust the mat’s position every morning because it moves about 3” per day. If you miss a day or two it will be 6” to 9” from where you want it. My carpet has a plush finish with depth trough carpet and pad measuring ¾” from top of carpet to solid floor below. The plastic will dent/dimple with the roller/casters on my executive office chair. The dimples are gone the next morning. This is the best mat that I’ve found over the last 10 years but not really what I’d like it to be.

Have only used it a couple days. Seems to protect the carpet pretty well. Does seem to develop pockets where the wheels of the chair are.

We purchased the most thick Chair mat designed for 1 inch thick carpet. It still gets depressions that make it hard to roll around.

Finally! The right one.

After much looking - and waiting - this mat finally makes the grade. I can't believe there are so many mats that claim to be for pile carpet which would barely be useable on berber. My chair wheels with my 225 lbs atop don't sink into the carpet through this mat. The points on the bottom are kind to the flesh as well.
