This one grabs the nap of the carpet - and doesn't slide around like the previous one I bought which was cheaper and online.

Hated to pay the absurd price for this mat but I have to say it’s been a Excellent investment. My old mat just kept on slipping and bunching up ( $30 ) not what I wanted. I would highly recommend for anyone with 1/2 to 3/4 inch carpets it hasn’t moved at all.

When it became apparent I'd be working at home for a while I realized I needed something to protect our new carpet in my home office space. This mat works as expected although the chair leaves divots in it. But the carpet underneath is fine after being vacuumed.

Cracked within a couple of days little depressions around feet so you have to work to get out of the spot you're in most often.
