Sturdy mat

The mat is working out very well. i wanted something smaller for on my carpet but now realize that I should have gone a little wider to cover the entire area behind my desk. Also I thought I had a medium pile carpet vs. deep pile but the mat moves and slides on the carpet as I roll my chair. So next time I will buy a mat for deep pile. Right now I just anchored the front corners under my desk to keep it in place.

The wheels of mu chair are sinking into the mat

The wheels of my char sre sinking into the mat and it is hard to move it out of the sunk area. My carpet thickness using the paper clip method is 1/4". I am very unhappy with this purchase.

Too thin for plush carpet.

This chair mat is way too thin for a plush carpet; plus it is way overpriced! I thought I would get a quality chair mat for [$]. It's the same thickness/quality as the chair mat I bought at [...] for $29.00 & I didn't like that one. That chair mat wasn't thick enough either...it cracked and fell apart just like I'm sure this one will. I learned my lesson I spent $20.00 more than I should've. Staples didn't have this chair mat in the store so I had to order it.

The floormat from Staples came in just the size I wanted. It remains securely on the carpet. A month later it shows not the slightest sign of wear. I am very pleased. My only problem was understanding the item listing at Staples online site -- I had to call the store to clarify the features of the product.

Does what it's supposed to but the anchor cleats let it move around a bit rather than keeping it fixed in one position.

PERFECT weight ~ PERFECT size ~ So nice to have the weight options with this mat! STURDY & of high quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a small desk & chair space. The chair stays on the mat when rolled back.
