Previous mat bought elsewhere did not specify carpet type. It failed after a few years. We will see if this is more rugged.

Short teeth so I was afraid it wouldn’t stay put on my medium pile carpet but it has worked fine.

The mat works well now but it is brand new. the rollers are making indentions in the mat and I don't believe it will hold up under years of use. A solid mat would be better and keep the plastic from sagging under the weight of the rollers.
