This mat is absolutely perfect for my office. It makes a huge difference when sitting on carpet. There are no chemical odors and the mat did straighten out in a couple of days.

So Thin

This is the third time I bought this item over the years. It wasn't available in the local store to see so they ordered it online for me. When it arrived I immediately noticed that this version appears much Thinner than the other two I have owned. Rolling around on it takes effort. Like the last two versions I suspect it will crack and discolor over time but with all things plastic that is normal. Simply stated "I'm not impressed".

The mat was delivered folded like a taco shell by several long strips of packing tape. When I removed the packing tape the adhesive from the tape remained stuck on the top surface of the mat. I have not been able to remove the adhesive yet. After working at my desk for a week the mat now has ugly dirt and lint racing stripes.

The pile of my carpet is less than 1" yet the mat still allows indents even with another flat plastic chair mat on top . . . I am not pleased . . .
