the wheels dig in and you have to push out of indents. if you have a thin carpet with thin matting under it this is not for you. i'm thinking of taking it back.

Haven't had mat long enough to really review it but have noticed my chair wheels make impressions on it. Not as thick and heavy as my last mat. It looks nice.

Lip size not shown on website product description. Email inquiry to Staples resulted in response that Lip size is 10" x 20". Purchased product in reliance on those figures and the mat's lip actually 12" x 25" too wide to fit between desk legs and therefor unusable. Required return.

Use this mat with up to 3/4" Carpet

We bought this floormat to replace one just like it we bought at Staples 10 years ago. It is identical. It was easy to put down stays in place and I have a heavy desk chair with rollers on it and works just fine...buy it!!! If it isn't rolling for some people I am wondering if the carpet they have it on is thick enough.

Great for home office.

I work from my home office and had a hard time finding a mat that worked with thick plush carpet for my desk and chair. This works great and is worth paying a little extra. Only time will tell how long it will hold up without cracking.

I purchased the mat for my home office that has fairly thick carpeting. If its like my last one it will last a couple of years before the wheels on my chair break through. So far my chair (large executive model) rolls freely and the carpet is protected from wear.
