to my surprise the wheels from my office chair quickly cause dents in the mat! prior mat never did. hope this doesn't lead to permanent dents!

Could be made of thicker material. The desk chair leaves dents in the mat that can be difficult to roll out of. This is the second one of these I've purchased and expect it to last a couple of years before it cracks and becomes unusable. It took me about an hour to clean the mat with some adhesive remover because the packing tape that's used for shipping was difficult to remove.

Pad too soft

The plastic pad made from is too soft. Wheels of chair sink in and will not roll out of the divot. Get one with thicker harder material or you will be returning it.
