It has really helped on the carpet. My chair rolls a lot easier. But when you set in the same spot you get a rut. I don't know what effect ths will have over time if any.

Nice carpet mat but...

I have had the carpet mat for a week and it is holding up fine but the mat is starting to show wear and tear marks. I hope it does not wear out too quickly.

I've only used the mat for two weeks so I cannot comment regarding longevity. The mat doesn't slip on my berber carpet. My chair glides easily on it. It flattened out fairly quickly. It's met my expectations.

Carpet Protector

Not exactly what I wanted. My heavy duty chair makes dents in the carpet protector and makes it more difficult to move hen on the carpet it self. I thought it was hard piece of plastic not roll-able vinyl.
