The item was not in a box or wrapped. It was placed on my front porch in the rain. The mat has a green stain on the side that goes down on my carpet. I don't know if it will transfer to my carpet.

Clear and smooth and wonderful but perhaps dangerous? Chairs roll easily on it... Maybe too easy? I'm considering fashioning a speed bump or two so my office manager doesn't have too much fun because work is for work. Would recommend for work not for play. And definitely not for using as a sled over fluffy white snow because you'd have to sit on it upside down and those pokey nubs would do a number on your hindquarters.

With an office chair of normal weight and a fairly low-pile carpet this mat does not work for me. The chair casters sink into temporary indentations anytime the chair stays in one place for awhile making it very difficult to move the chair out of these "ruts" for lack of a better term. I doubt I will tolerate trying to use it for very long.
