We have a very low pile carpet and with daily use we are getting about 3-5 months from this mat. It starts breaking apart and pieces come off.

No different from the one I paid $24 for but this one cost [$]. After a few weeks use there are already indentations from my desk chair. Avoid this product!

I am not completely sure what the definition of "Low Pile" is but the mat seems to be working well. It is a great improvement over what I had and the sale price was great.

My only disappointment is that when you sit in a chair on the mat it begins to leave indentations. My previous one did not do that. Otherwise it is good.

False Advertising

The ad says "No harsh smell GREENGUARD Gold Certified for Low Chemical Emissions to UL 2818No harsh smell GREENGUARD Gold Certified for Low Chemical Emissions to UL 2818". This is not at all true. We took the mat out of the box and it smelled up our whole house. I have chemical sensitivities and this mat is making me very ill. It's going back asap. I have to keep the mat in the garage until then.

Substantial mats

I'm using the chair mats in my sewing room which has berber carpet. I'm hoping these will hold up better than ones I've purchased in the past. The old ones cracked and chunks broke out of them after just a few months of use. These are really smooth and easy to clean and chairs roll really nice on them.
