FLasted less than a year

I received this mat 2/18/2015 and about two weeks ago it suddenly cracked. I use it in my home and I am the only user. It lasted a little less than a year. I expected to get at least a couple years out of it but maybe I expect too much.

Mat thickness

We have a low pile carpet but the mat is definitely to thin for low pile as my office chair sinks into it. There needs to be a better definition of this on your website. I'm very frustrated right now and I'm going to return this for a much thicker mat.

Staples Low Pile Carpet Chair Mat

Entire transaction was excellent with one exception. The mat arrived unwrapped no box no wrapping of any kind and it was just left lying there on the front porch. It made it very difficult to pick up and bring into the house. Would have preferred to have it delivered in a box.
Chair was hard on carpet. Ordered this Chair Mat for low pile carpet and solved the problem.

Label not very attractive....

[...] It was not protected by cardboard so the spikey back was exposed and awkward to carry to the office areas without getting jabbed. Not to mention they were just plopped on the floor in a pile bent and curled. Plus without the packaging the manufacturer's label is permanently affixed to the mat and it doesn't come off without some kind of effort and solvent. So now we just have to look at it all day under our feet and it is rather unsightly and unprofessional looking. The label should be removable without stickiness and excess effort. I haven't had it long enough to see the long term wear and tear effects. But I do like the size. Works well in our areas at the office. The edges are beveled nicely too. Seems like it should hold up fine.
