Staples® 45" x 53" High Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip

This mat was delivered the next day after order was placed. It has performed well since that day. The "cleats" are deep enough to keep the mat from sliding. However the wheels of the chair create depressions in the mat which prevent the chair from sliding freely. After the "body" weight is off the chair the depressions go away.

I have high pile carpet and I'm not a small person....so the chair mat needed to be thick for both reasons. This one works well. Whatever denting I've put into it seems to disappear after an hour of not being used. The bigger size is useful too.

The mat arrived without packaging and was filthy - it had to be cleaned before putting down on the carpet in my office. Even though it is "heavy duty" it still dimples making chair movement a little difficult. Bottom line - it's just OK.

The lip keeps the mat from traveling too far. The impressions left from chair wheels clear soon after the chair is moved.
