This mat is still to flimsy to prevent indentations in plush carpet with thick padding. Chair wheels get stuck in the depressions.

CHAIR MAT

Arrived fine not rolled or anything. Stickers peeled right off with no effort at all. Did not smell. Laid flat on the floor within minutes. It is clear like glass my old one was smoky clear. My chair weighs 88 lbs. and I weigh 205 and chair rolls fine. I am rolling and happy as can be. Highly recommend. I am a retired IBM Administrative Office Manager.

Good quality at a reasonble price

I purchase a new office chair mat for my home office about every 2 years. Seems most mats begin cracking after about a year. I selected this mat because it was specifically designed for high pile carpet and reasonably priced The mat wasn't available in-store so I ordered online right from the store with the assistance of a very helpful sales associate. The order was shipped directly to my home for no extra charge. It arrived just 3 days later folded in a box. It's important to follow the enclosed unfolding instructions to avoid cracking the mat. This mat is considerably thicker than many of my earlier purchases and incorporates "carpet bars" rather than points to keep the mat from moving. The bars seem to be effective. So far the mat is working well. Time will tell.

Not for high pile carpets

This chair mat is no different than the medium pile available in the local store. Moves around when the chair moves.

Protecting the Rental Deposit

These things aren't cheap but it was suggested to us that a mat like this might protect our rental deposit when and if we ever want to move. Working great so far.

Mat developed divots that the chair wheels sank into after only a few hours of use. I am returning it!
