We purchased this mat for our office which had a 1 inch thick rug in it. Before we could not move the chair with someone sitting in it but now it moves perfect.

Excellent Heavy Duty Mat

We bought this mat for our home office to use over standard residential carpeting in what was designed to be a bedroom. The mat works great so far and looks like it will hold up to regular use. We bought it for my husband's chair so the combined weight on it is likely to be over 230lbs. It was delivered without a box laid flat outside our front door and everything is fine. We are pleased with our purchase.

Not Up to the Task

This mat is not strong enough to prevent a chair from quickly wearing grooves and dimples in it. These slowly worsen eventually causing the plastic to crack. It is good for a few months of full time use at most.

Poor shipping and label very difficult to remove.

Chair mat was delivered dirty rippled and with absolutely no wrapping or packaging. The ripples did flatten out after 2 days but the huge label (approx 6" x 12") took 2 people 1/2 hour to remove using Goof-Off. It required spraying soaking and picking it off in pieces. Why didn't the manufacturer use an easy peel off label?

Was concerned at first when it came tightly rolled up in a huge box. Pleasantly surprised that it unrolled and flattened out quickly and seems like it will really hold up under pressure on plush carpet. Previously had a budget mat that cracked and fell apart in a very short time. Pays to get the right mat for the application.
