Not heavy enough

I have medium pile carpet and my casters sink into it and create divots/depressions and doesn't roll. I will return it and hope the one for heavy duty carpet works. The chair and I probably weigh 230 lbs.

Great product!...my only objection to it is the chair rollers make indentations in it which makes it a bit hard to move around...

45X53 high pile carpet chair mat

Followed all of the directions - before end of 1st day depression where chair sat. Only positive is it covers the rug. I am 5'6" and weigh 145 lbs. this was guaranteed to last "a lifetime". Well so much for that.

Better than the low pile

Better than the low pile mat but still even with a 5 wheel chair depressions are left when one stays in one position for very long. This means that one has to push out of the depressions to move it. Does anyone make a thicker mat that stays rigid (this is the thickest I could find)?

Had to order did not have in stock at store. The mat walks and ends up curling in on the sides of the desk. It does not have long pins on bottom to keep it in place. Also the chair does not roll free on the mat sinks in. I have high pile carpet (which this product is made for) and this mat is not compatable with high pile carpet. Would not recomend this mat. Had to rate it one star as there is nothing less then that. Staples feel free to contact me on this product if you wish.

Even though my office chair has large rollers and the chair mat had the highest rating for resisting indentations on carpet this mat does not adequately resist indentation.

It's a good chair mat. What more can be said? It is kind of pricey though hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
