I ordered a chair mat to be delivered to my home. It came quickly the driver was pleasant .product was in excellent shape and works fine.

I bought it before it was firm. But this item is now wasn't firm anymore. I wouldn't recommend for 3/4" capet.

As a 230 pound body builder I place a heavy load on the chair. The five chair casters leave indentations on the surface of the mat which I fear will mean an early demise to the mat.

I expected that it would not immediately develop indentations--it is the right type of mat for my carpet. Those indentations make it difficult to smoothly roll and in fact I have to push very hard to get it out of the ruts. I guess I would recommend it because I don't know if there is anything better or not. (Does not slide means that it stays put on carpet and doesn't refer to rolling on top in the chair).

This chair mat is working out great. Most of all I really appreciated the Staples instructions on how to purchase the correct chair mat for the type of carpeting in your office. The measurement with the paperclip worked out Great!! Thanks for the HELP! I can only hope that this chair mat will not crack for I feel I have done everything to order the correct one.

I was going to use this under kitchen rolling cabinet but it was too large for the area I wanted to put it in so I put it under my craft table where the size & use on the rug are perfect. Will be buying a smaller one for the cabinet.
