Mat was fine but the condition was awful

This chair mat is fine good size and seems to be holing up fine with my chair and carpet. Would have gone with high pile if I was to do it again. Complaint or warning for you was around the condition of the two mats I received from ordering it online. They came rolled and bound with tape. They were dirty and damaged. You could not see how bad the dirt was on it until you wipe it down. I unfortunately laid it out on light carpet before I saw how bad it was. It left gray marks everywhere it touched. I wiped it down both top and bottom and it turned my rags black. Crazy how dirty it was. Second the delivery guys must have dragged the rolls around since both had scrapped up edges. With all this said I would not do a Staples deliver for this item again.

The plastic is a little too soft as my roller chair sinks into the divots made by the legs and it is hard to roll out of them. I expected it to be harder plastic to prevent that.

It's probably impossible to find a carpet mat that wont dent if you remain in a fixed position for more than 5 minutes.

I have 6 of these in my office and 5 cracked after 2 years of use. They have a limited lifetime warranty so I called Staples and was given the manufactuers contact info. I filed a cliam online and had 5 new mats in my office within 10 days!!! They didn't even charge me shipping!

I did not use this mat under a chair. Rather I used it to support a large parrot bird cage and protect the carpeting under it. It worked out perfectly.

This chair mat was chosen because it was thicker than others and it was for rugs with 3/4" pile (which mine is). However when used it immediately started getting indents. Each of the chair's wheels formed a dent and I had to push to move the chair up out of those dents. I weigh 148 pounds. Apparently the material is thick but soft. Will return it.
