Staples 46x60 Medium pile carpet chair mat

Purchased this item couple months ago. It has many deep impressions where ever my chair is. I only weigh 180. The mat is the worst i have ever had. Others have lasted over two years.

I ordered this medium-pile carpet chair mat and am very pleased with it. It lies flat on my carpet but is thicker than other brands. I expect it will last longer. It has not formed dips where my chair rollers are so my chair is not "drawn" to the same location when I sit down. A very good mat!

Dents worse

Wrong decision ... thought a thicker chair mat would do a better job than the cheap one I had for years ... wrong! The dents are deeper and harder to get out of than the old one. I am in the process of covering it with plywood and a piece of laminate flooring I have left over from my kitchen. I will keep it on the rug under everything hoping the cleats will stop any movement of the finished product.

Very pleased the mat is perfect for my needs as the chair moves easily on the mat and the beveled edge makes it easy to return the chair to the surface when it is moved away from the desk.

My old chair mat had begun cracking and I knew it was time for a new one. This mat is the ideal size and lets me roll from my computer desk back to my regular desk without rolling off the mat. Only downside is it tends to dent rather deep when I sit in one place very long. Dents disappear after a few moments so is no real problem. I would buy same mat again and reccomend it.

I bought this mat to be used under my task chair at my office where I work up to twelve hours a day and sometimes 6 days a week. I have only been using it for a few weeks. No wear is discernible yet. My chair has five legs and has carpet casters. The chair moves very smoothly over the mat and easily moves back onto the mat when I go beyond its coverage. The mat is 46" by 60" which is the largest I could find. I could have used a 50" by 70" if it were available. My work station is surrounded by my desk a lateral file cabinet and credenza and a paper shredder. I constantly move throughout the day in all four directions. Before I had this mat my chair rode directly on the landlord's wall to wall industrial carpeting and the carpet was wearing thin.

I ordered this because my deck chair with rollers was tearing up the carpeting. I ordered this in the evening and it was delivered at 8:30 AM the next morning. It was slightly warped but flattened out quickly. I had no problems taking the sticker off. It works great. Not only is it protecting the carpeting but it makes it so much easier to roll the chair. I am thinking about getting another one to put under my son's video gaming chair for the same reason.
