There is only one problem with the chair mat. It doesn't stay in place. It seems to "walk" in whatever direction we vacate the chair from. I have to constantly push it back to the proper position.

Chair Sinks Into Mat for Uneven Roll

Using this on recommended commercial carpet without padding but it's not thick enough to maintain a level rolling surface. Probably OK for super-thin carpet.

Had it less then a year and already started cracking in the middle says "1 year manufacture warranty" we'll see what that really means.
