Looks nice but for my carpet it is too soft. My chair cannot roll on it. Take something stronger if you have the big carpet.

Chairs don't slide they sink and lock into place.

I bought this matt to allow a chair to slide on my wooden floor and not damage the wood floor. (The chair does not have wheels.) It does not work. The chair sinks into the plastic and is locked in place. A dissapointment. I will use it with a wheeled chair under a different desk. Sigh.

Wheels of office chair sink in to the soft plastic a little. It is better than trying to roll the chair around on the carpet without the mat.

Mat may be ok but I don't know yet because it was shipped in a tight roll that took all my strength to unroll. Extremely difficult to flatten. Had to pile furniture on top of it and it still curled up. Hope it will flatten in a few days but really this is an utterly inappropriate and insane way to ship this product. If it doesn't lie flat by the end of this week I will return it.
