Chair roller depressed the plastic and make it difficult to move around on the pad. The pad was on a tight woven carpet. I would recommend this pad for a very thin carpet only.

I like the mat but I think my carpet doesn’t have a flat pile. So it isn’t a smooth glide. However it is easier to roll the chair. I don’t know what else I could use. So it works for me. You might want to research a bit depending on the thickness of the pile. Sorry I couldn’t help You more.
