While this mat comes in a rather long box and is rolled into an eight inch diameter tube it is now flat. Because of the time of year it had gotten pretty cold during transit and was a little challenging to unroll. Within a couple of hours it was flat. My dying chair rolls easily now! Part of me wishes I could put them end to end in the whole room!

The floor mat arrived quickly and shipped for free.It arrived on our doorstep curled up like an area rug. I was a bit surprised that it came without any protective wrapping but it was in perfect condition. I did not see it delivered; for all I know the driver may have unwrapped it upon delivery. No harm no foul. The mat unfurled smooth and flat and I also like the pebbled texture Excellent inexpensive protection for a brand new hardwood floor.

It is used in a study and it is just the right thickness. My chair rolls easily on it. The Travertine marble floor can be seen through it.

This chair mat is working out well so far. It was delivered flat (not rolled) and the decals peeled off easily so I was able to start using it right away. I can't really tell which side is intended to face the floor and I wouldn't call either side "tacky" (to prevent slipping) but the mat doesn't move around unless you get off the chair and mat and try to move it with your foot. It's a good value presuming it holds up as I expect it to.
