Just What I Wanted

My workstation for my home office is in the dining room. This mat is protecting my hardwood floors from futher damage from my rolling desk chair. It is well worth the cost and does the job for which I purchased it. It does tend to move over time but I spend about four hours per day at the workstation and have to reposition it maybe every two weeks. That's a minor inconvenience. If you need to move a significant distance (to access a printer fax or file cabinet etc.) it may be too small so pay attention to the size.

It took a couple of days for the mat to flatten out. Working well so far on our laminate flooring. Hope it proves to be durable.

Much better price buying this mat online and having it shipped to the store for free where I picked it up. Looks and works great and you can see the beautiful hardwood floor too. Can't beat the online price. Great deal.

Worth the search

It was difficult to find a mat this size and without spikes. Now that I have it I am completely satisfied. There is no static buildup or curling. I only give 4 stars because it would be great if this particular size of mat were offered in a complete rectangle shape rather than notched for a desk. To get a full rectangle you have to go to the next size up which is too big for my needs. Otherwise great purchase. I recommend it.

Arrived Damaged

Mat arrived damaged. I thought it was something on the mat at first and didn't pay attention to it. When I was poutting it in place I noticed that the surface in about four places was melted/smeared. Was too much of a hassel to return and since the damage didn't go all of the way through I just decided to keep it. Hopefully it won't wear out prematurely.
