I feel like I"m hitting potholes and have to fight to get out of them to roll around. I have a med/low pile carpet but chair sinks in and I'm constantly stuck to roll around on this.

Chair Mat seems ‘one size’ smaller than I measured out at my desk. I’m 275 lbs and the wheels on chair do sink into the mat after working at desk for a few hours so need to stand in order to reposition chair. I am skeptical if the mat will prevent wear and tear on the carpet. This mat is thin plastic but durable. Hard rubber thicker ‘gym’ mat may be better for me. Price makes purchase worth a try.

Got the mat home and placed it on my bedroom carpet. I weigh 210 and am using a 25-lb. 5-leg desk chair. The Staples economy chair mat now after 1 week has permanent dimples where the chair wheels sit when I am rolled up to my desk. I believe this chair mat is too thin.

Not good! Disappointed!! Mat was a replacement for a chair mat bought from Staples 13YEARS AGO!. Reason for replacing the 13 yo mat--It was showing wear and tear This replacement mat----CHEAPLY MADE SHOWS CHAIR DENTS!! Read reviews before purchased and on the one I thought I purchased didn't have bad reviews and certainly didn't report on the one I purchased that this would occur. To Staples--Why offer this cheap mat as an option. To any customer wanting a new chair mat---THIS particular chair mat IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Not very well made its pretty thin and I do not see it holding up very long I don't use it everyday just at home.I should have got the more expensive mat. I am glad Staples will honor their warranty if it does not make it a year. Its just a budget mat I guess it will keep the carpet clean underneath. As you sit on it even for a little while the chair will leave dimples in the mat. If you are considering buying this mat it would be well worth the extra money to buy the more expensive model and save having to take it back.
