I think that they serve the purpose well but a little harder plastic would keep the chair from "settleing" into a little "hole" while sitting still. It is a little effort to get the chair to move out of that "hole"!

The chair mat protects my carpet.

This purchase I should have made a long time ago because it protcctd my carpet and I can move more easily in my bedroom.when there are wheels on your desk chair it rather hard to move from place to place.

We don't have transportation to get to the store. Delivery was nice but came damaged - corner left was gone completely missing. Accepted item for our old mat was falling apart in chunks and this even in its state was a way better replacement!

Saving the Carpet

this is a very good smaller mat that I was looking for..it was on sale 50% off..who couldn't make that work? On carpet it gives some protection but still works down although not anywhere near working into carpet that is unprotected. It all bounces back after you get up anyway.
