It is inadequate to be under a chair. So soft it is like a plastic cartpet.

It is fine for my needs. I can tell that it probably won't last all that long but I am using it for my home office while working remotely because of the pandemic and didn't want the new carpet in my office damaged. The size was perfect for the space I needed to cover. It does tend to bow under the weight of the chair and all the COVID weight that I've gained.

Too lightweight for my chair - my chair sank into it and I could not move it. I need a more heavy weight rigid one that can withstand the weight of my chair on my carpet.

This chair mat was what the doctor ordered! For the longest time I had been using an old cotton-based rug in my home office to cushion my rolling chair (purchased at Staples) from the extremely aged carpet in an old bedroom I converted into a library-office for projects underway once I retired. It was a constant struggle to keep the rug from bunching up as well as keeping the carpet properly cleaned. I was told that one or two more machine washes of the mat would result in its disintegration lol! Not only is the rug still usable I can now smoothly move the chair in the office with ease! Thank you.

I knew that Staples would have what we needed to protect our floor from a folding chair that is used at our desk. Our floor is covered with inside/outside carpet so it's thin carpet. I was concerned that our thin carpet would get damaged from the legs of our folding chair. So we took a trip to Staples in search of a plastic floor mat. We were met by a man that worked there that was extremely helpful to us. He asked us questions to help him to make suggestions. I wish I could remember his name. His suggestions helped us to make a good decision on which floor protector to purchase. Staples has several different floor protectors. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their floor. The only regret I have is not purchasing a little thicker floor protector.
