I buy a new one about every 2 years for my home office area (its my primary area in the apt). I do a lot of up/down and rolling around - more so than when I was at work. The govt buys JUNK.

The size is perfect for our den. Wish they made a heavier duty chair mat with the same dimensions that would be suitable for a heavier run like ours. We have to replace the 2 mates every few years because they are on a heavier rug then what the mat is designed for.

Very disappointed with this one. Bought it because we needed one and it was on sale but it is very flimsy does not stick to the carpet (edges come up or catch on chair/foot) and does not stop ANY static electricty!
