I have no complaints with it. It is sturdy and stays in place on the rug. It appears that it will give long wear.

Question the shape
on June 8, 2014

From the catalog appearance it would seem that the extension that goes under the desk is not long enough to protect the carpet. If you did not position it just right I would think your chair wheel would come off the front edge also if you are a person that likes to sit up close to your desk. A shorter person might not find this useable. The other big gripe with these mats is when they crack. The plastic needs to be thick enough to protect the carpet but not become brittle. It is also a problem when bits chip off the edge of the mat because it gets brittle and your chair wheel cracks them off.

Solves my problem with carpeting

Made my new chair glide over the carpet with ease.
We checked our purchase on line before going to the store. Sales Associates on the selling floor were helpful and made sure we found our selection even though they were busy cleaning. The cashier at the checkout was very friendly and had us checked out in no time. The rug mat for under our desk chair works as expected.
It' OK quality for being fairly inexpensive but it's far-and-away not the best plastic carpet-protecting chair mat I've ever bought. Give it about six months and it will start to fall apart just like the last one (similar) one that bought at Staples. I'd really like to see a mid-range mat one that holds up for a couple of years around the $30 - $55 dollar range. Your top quality mats are just too expensive at $60 - $90 a pop.
