It works o.k on a commercial carpet Just be careful if it's to thin. If it is the mat will not sit properly and the surface will become uneven!

Bought three of these and all three only lasted 7 - 8 months before we threw them out. The plastic cracked in several places which made it definitely NOT a smooth rolling surface.

Purchased it to protect our carpets but it has a very uneven surface to roll your chair over. It also has a strong smell that no one in the office could stand. Had to air out the office and remove the mats.

This one was great it comes flat I've ordered others online and they come rolled up and are very hard to un curl. This one was a good price comes flat and stays flat. Does the job.
