For now the chairmat suits it's purpose but it should be made more durable for the money that you pay for it.

I think the material is too soft. The chair wheels are leaving indentations when I sit in the chair. The last mat I got at Staples was tougher/stronger.

The chair rollers become embedded and crack the plastic unless rotated regularly. Disappointing.

The chair makes indentations in the mat and the chair doesn't roll that easy. You have to push it a little. The mat is pretty thick and the price was reasonable.

We purchased the first one from Staples. We were in need of a second one and actually bought a Rubbermaid. Took the Rubbermaid back to the store and went back to Staples to get one just like we got before. This is firm enough (Rubbermaid was flimsy and to soft - chair wouldn't slide smoothly) works well chair moves smoothly and the mat has a comfortable feel on bare feet. Would recommend to others.

Makes my desk chair roll easier on my carpet. Like it a lot. Good buy and lots of sizes to choose from at STAPLES.
