Great for home office!

I purchased this for my home office. Carpet a little thicker than recommended still works protects the carpet from the chair.

The mat buckles on carpet and makes it hard for the chair to roll on it. Has to stick an unsightly piece of cardboard under it to allow chair to roll better.

I roll my chair around quite a bit and the BerberMat is large enough that I don't roll off of it thereby saving the rug.

Wish they would last longer

Have bought several of these the past few years and I would like to see them made more crack-resistant. I am the only person who uses the desk where this mat is used and it is not abused. The wheels of the chair are plastic and yet there are indentation marks on the mat every day.

It is a nice heavy mat but dents easily and leaves ruts for my chair to roll into. I have to keep moving to a new spot on the mat. The carpet is in fact 3/8 Berber. I am 220 lbs. Probably sending it back.
