I got a chair and a mat to use with my sewing machine when I do machine quilting. Both are absolutely perfect for what I need.

This chair mat was alright over our short carpet. However the plastic has dents in it where the rollers of our chair are. I feel that the mat should have lasted a lot longer before wearing out where the chair wheels are.

I got the mat to preserve new carpet in my office. Has worked well for the most part - certainly easier to roll on than the carpet. It does indent a bit and get stuck in certain spots like other reviewers have said. All in all it's fine.
