The chair mat is a bit too soft. Chair wheels indent a bit making it hard to roll. Mat is being used over a medium pile carpet. The mat may not be well-suited for my application.

I am enjoying my carpet chair mat. I wish it was just a little stronger. The wheels on my chair makes an indent and in time will crack the mat. My last one lasted several years with the assistance of duct tape after wear.

This is the second chairmat I've purchased in the last two years. Just tossed the first one (same brand and quality level) due to severe cracking. Label says it's guaranteed but it's a pain to take it in and I couldn't find the receipt so I just got another one which I'll probably have to toss in two years.

Just too thin. Hard to roll on wheel sink way in. My old one was a little thicker enough to support the wheels fine but it cracked after years of use. Bought that one at Staples also.
