Expensive mats do not last any longer than budget ones so we will see as it does not get a lot of hard use.

Make sure your carpet pile is flat. Mine is just under a half inch and this mat gets depressed under the wheels of my chair. It takes a serious butt shove to move it.

Purchased this along w/a taster chair & it was just what we needed. This is made of THICK plastic that STAYS in place!!! My hubby is a BIG guy & he can roll his chair across it as if he were in the office rolling across the thin office carpet. I’m a believer in reviews. Take my word & BUY this!!! I placed it over the carpet in the basement it rolls very well!!

I have this over flat pile carpet in my home office and it almost makes things more difficult. It sinks in where the wheels have been stationary for a while and thus makes sliding around in the chair over the mat harder. It had one job man. smh.
