It's not thick enough! The chair makes dents and then the wheels get stuck in them when trying to move.

I don't expect a lot of life from this mat. The chair casters indent into the mat (like getting stuck in a pothole) making it difficult to move the chair after a short period of sitting. It probably will start to crack in less than a year and then self-destruct like my previous 4-5 mats. They (Staples? or mfg.) used to have a warranty on chair mats but I haven't seen a warranty offered in quite a few years. I guess they had make good on too many replacements.

Sturdy Chair Mat

Arrived tightly rolled up. Both of us had difficulty unrolling it. Used a hair dryer to make it lie flat. Took 5 minutes; not it can be used under desk.
