The chair mat works well but cracks after a year or two and has to be replaced. I have bought several over the years. As they are not terribly expensive it is a good investment

This is a temporary solution until the virus crisis subsides. It will be ok on low pile carpet so the office style chair wheels do not wear holes in a carpet or rug. It is more affordable and available than the competitors but I can tell it will not last long. The wheels do make little dents after 20 minutes. Not for a big person or heavy chair.

The Chair Mat we had for more than 10 years was falling apart. When I checked the internet how much they cost Walmart was the cheapest. So that's where I planned to buy it. Then there was an email from Staples: 25 % off for 1 item only for that day! End of the story cheaper at Staples. It is a beautiful mat. Fits perfect under and in front of the computer desk. Heavy plastic and sticks nicely to the carpet. A great buy for a super price! Thanks.

This mat is quite thick and very stable under my rolling desk chair. The spikes on the underneath are sharp which holds it in place on carpet.
