Have not had the product long enough. Hope it will stand up to the test of time protecting carpeted floor. Wheels from chair indent product too easily don't know if product is too thin or not time will tell.

Staples Flat Pile Carpet Mat

When I viewed this item on the Staples web site the picture looked like it was a "flat pile carpet" (an actual rug) but when I received it it was a clear plastic mat. I was disappointed at first but then after it was put down under my husband's new office chair I decided maybe the plastic mat would work better (and last longer) than a rug mat to protect the wood floor.
