Good Chair Mat

As I bought this online "sight unseen" from Stapler.com I was unsure if I would be happy with my purchase. As it turns out I am very satisfied with the chair mat. I have been using it constantly in my home office and it is holding up very well. The may arrived within one business day of placing the online order and although it came rolled in a box it flattened out very quickly and conformed to the contours of my home office floor within a couple of hours. Having hardwood floors I placed a larger rug underneath it and this combination has worked out very well. The only recommendation I would make is to perhaps consider buying the next larger size especially if you have a rolling office chair which could tend to roll off the sides of the smaller mat.

I bought this chairmat because it was advertised to protect my carpet and would be easy to roll on. I bought the smallest size so it would fit under the desk and a little ways behind the chair for good coverage. It does not lay flat on the carpet and I have sturdy very short pile carpet. Also the chair wheels do not roll on it. Instead they make grooves in the plastic and I have to physically get out of the chair and move it to where I want to sit each time I need to resituate. This chair mat is better used on probably tile or wood floors but definitely not carpet.
