Good size but When put on carpet even a somewhat firm carpet the plastic dents and doesn't let my chair move well. The wheels get a bit stuck in the plastic which becomes dented.

The Carpet Chair Mat was a good size for my Desk . I doesn't like its shiny surface and too small spikes on the bottom. It is sometimes displaced along the carpet due to poor adhesion to it.

IT DOES THE "TRICK". After trying ROLL-OUT floor covering that only gathered up causing wheels of my chair to get jammed thought would try this and NOT at all disappointed.. but think could have used a larger mat.... probably next time...
